Arnulf Becker Lorca, a visiting fellow with the Global Governance Project, is a lecturer in public international law at King’s College in London.

He is currently working on a book tentatively titled "Mestizo International Law: A Global Intellectual History from the 1850s to 1950s," to be published by Cambridge University Press. The book focuses on the interactions between the centers and peripheries of the world, exploring the relationship between Western and non-Western states and their international lawyers.

He received his SJD, LLM, and MA from Harvard Law School. He also holds an MA in international studies from the Universidad de Chile and a JD from Universidad Gabriela Mistral, also in Santiago, Chile.
