Anders Brag is president of GARB Holdings LLC, which takes positions in value-oriented investments and in technology growth companies. He is an investor/director of several international companies located in the US, Europe, and China.
Brag previously served as general partner of Hambro International Venture Fund, the US affiliate of London-based Hambros Bank PLC, from 1979 to 1990, and subsequently as special limited partner until 1997. The partnership investments were diversified between early stage venture capital financings and leverage buyouts of more mature companies.
He is a charter board member of the Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA), which provides a summer scholar leadership program. He is a director/member of the American Scandinavian Foundation and the Brookings Institution Council.
A Swedish citizen, he holds a BA in economics from the Institut Europeen de Cooperation et d’Economie in Paris (1975) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (1979).
